Pump Pipe Engineering proudly operates through two divisions: the Foundry / Casting division and the Fabrication division. This strategic approach has positioned us as a tier-one supplier to the mining, construction, engineering, marine, and railway industries in South Africa and its neighboring countries.

The foundry division has a long-established reputation for quality and service.
The plant is capable of supplying machined components in carbon and stainless steels, grey and ductile irons, as well as NI hard, Ni resist alloys, aluminium and copper alloys.

Extensive electric melting installations facilitate the production of castings up to 5 tons for the mining, marine, sugar, pump, and general industries.

Our facility and resources are continually upgraded to stay aligned with advancements in control systems and production techniques. This includes the installation of a new mini substation, ensuring a more reliable and consistent power supply. This enhancement enables us to operate our furnaces in parallel at full capacity, maximizing efficiency and output.
RAIL AND ROLLING STOCK COMMODITIES
Over the years, Pump Pipe Engineering has established itself as a leading manufacturer and supplier of rolling stock components to the local railway sector.

Today, we are proud to be a tier-one supplier to Transnet Freight Rail.
​
Transnet, through its localization program, has played a pivotal role in partnering with us and its engineers to develop and manufacture railway components that were historically imported from the United States and the Far East.
​
Our components are meticulously engineered using high-grade raw materials to ensure superior tensile strength and corrosion resistance. These include, but are not limited to, axles, bogies, wagon parts, suspension, and brake systems.
